A hybrid of two cuts

A radiant borrows its outline from the emerald cut, cropped corners and a square or rectangular footprint, then fills it with brilliant faceting instead of steps. You get the architectural shape without the open, glassy interior of a true step cut.

An emerald cut's broad facets show moissanite's extra fire as large flashes of color, which starts reading as distinctly not a diamond above roughly 1.5 to 2ct. Shape and durability
