Moissanite pendant necklaces, made to order in sterling silver, gold, or platinum. A pendant sits where people look when they talk to you, which is why the chain and the bail matter as much as the stone.

Chain length decides where it sits

An 16 inch chain sits at the base of the throat. An 18 inch chain, the most common length, sits just below the collarbone and works over almost any neckline. Twenty inches and above drops onto the chest and suits layering. If you are buying as a gift and cannot check, 18 inches is the safe answer.

Chain weight matters too. A heavy pendant on a fine chain drags the clasp round to the front and looks wrong within an hour of wearing it.

Carat weight reads differently at the neck

A stone at the neck is viewed from further away than a ring on a hand, so it needs more size to register. A 1ct pendant reads as understated where a 1ct ring reads as substantial. If you want the pendant to be noticed rather than merely present, look at 1.5ct and up.

Ordering

Made to order in our own workshop in Surat, two to four weeks door to door, with 30 days to return or exchange. Sterling silver tarnishes with wear and a polishing cloth reverses it. Gold and platinum do not.
