Pear Halo Moissanite Engagement Rings

Pear cut moissanite engagement rings with a halo of smaller stones around the center. The halo follows the teardrop outline, which exaggerates the elongation the pear already gives you.

A halo that follows the teardrop

A pear is a round brilliant at one end and a point at the other. A halo traces that asymmetric outline, which exaggerates the elongation the shape already gives you and makes the hand read longer. Worn with the point toward the fingernail, the way most people wear it, the effect runs down the finger.

The halo also covers the point, which is the most exposed and most easily chipped part of a pear. A haloed pear is a more sensible everyday ring than a bare one for that reason alone.

Size for the money

Accent stones cost far less per carat than one large center, so the halo is where the value sits. A 1ct pear in a halo presents like a substantially larger solitaire. The cost is upkeep, since more settings collect more dirt and want a prong check once a year.

Look for the bow tie before you buy, here or anywhere. Every elongated brilliant can show a dark band across the middle where the facets fail to return light. A faint one is normal. A heavy one dulls the stone, and we reject those.

Moissanite throughout

Center and halo are both lab-grown moissanite rather than diamond. Made to order in our own workshop in Surat, two to four weeks door to door, sizes 3 to 10 in quarter steps, 30 days to return or exchange.
